Uma experiência indescritível pelo nosso Gerês! O Carlos foi um guia excepcional que nos proporcionou um dia muito tranquilo, de reconexão com a natureza, repleto de histórias e curiosidades da fauna e flora locais.

Different levels of hiking with several amazing view points. You don't meet a lot of tourists (and for some hiking paths, not even one!) which makes this expedition really relaxing in this huge nature park. Important to know: Portugal is not flat, you will have to climb some hills.

We had a fantastic experience! In the morning we met our guide Carlos, which turned out to be a really nice and well informed guy. During the day he told us about the park and Portugal and Portugese habits in general. The park itself is a beautiful place to spent time. During our walk of about 6 km we enjoyed the silence, vegetation, birds en numerous viewpoints. After a very good lunch in a local restaurant (which is included in the price) we resumed our tour by jeep. Carlos brought us to a very nice spot, sort of a little and hidden creek with a small waterfall within the park. There, we spent about 2 jours enjoying nature, the cold water (swimming!) and the best thing is: we were almost alone, except for an other couple. In the late afternoon we drove through an other part of the park which, again, was very different but fantastic as well. If you go sightseeing in Portugal, definitely don't forget to visit this National Park!

Nice view.

Cascata do Arado. Nice view of waterfall, bring swimsuit.
